Weather - Dunfermline to have largely dry, cool weekend

Tomorrow is set to brighten up as the day progresses, with temperatures peaking at 12°C, though it will feel closer to 10°C due to a noticeable breeze.

Skies are expected to clear steadily, bringing sunshine from late morning through the afternoon, with the temperature climbing to 11–12°C.

Wind speeds are forecast between 5–12 mph, with gusts reaching up to 21 mph.

The air will be quite humid in the morning, peaking at 94 per cent before dropping to about 64 per cent later on, meaning it may feel cool despite the sunshine.

UV levels are estimated to be moderate, so it's advisable to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during midday without protection.

Visibility is going to be generally very good, reaching up to 30km.

However, it may fall to about 2.9km in some areas, likely due to early mist or haze.

People with hay fever should expect high pollen levels, especially in the sunnier afternoon.
