HEAVY rain and thunderstorms have been forecast to affect Dunfermline and West Fife today.
The Met Office have issued a yellow warning - covering much of eastern Scotland - from midday to 10pm.
There could be travel disruption and flash flooding in Fife with possible accumulations of up to 20mm of rainwater in an hour.
The Met Office said: "Heavy and thundery showers are expected to develop this afternoon and continue into the early evening.

"Whilst not all places in the warning area will see heavy showers, accumulations of 15 to 20mm are possible in one hour and 30 to 40mm in three hours or so where they do occur.
"Hail and lightning will be additional hazards."
Fifers have been told that spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and road closures, and the possibility of delays and cancellations to rail and bus services.
There may also be power cuts and a "small chance" that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds.
