A night of "good time blues" is set to take centre stage in Dunfermline this weekend.
Scottish blues harmonica player Kevin Jordan and his band The Shuffle Kings will perform live at Fire Station Creative on Saturday, September 26.
The free, over-18s event promises an evening of blues classics and rhythms, beginning at 8.30pm.
A spokesperson for the band said to expect: "Good Time Blues, Played Right!"
Mr Jordan, a veteran of Scotland’s blues scene, began playing harmonica at the age of 12 and has since performed with musicians across Scotland, England, and the United States.
He has shared the stage with artists such as Baby Issac, Linda Jaxon, Little Miss Debbie, Rev Doc & The Congregation, Independence Rock Band, Lightnin Willie & The Poor Boys, and Simon ‘Honey Boy’ Hickling.
Mr Jordan is influenced by blues legends including Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Sonny Boy Williamson, Rod Piazza, The Mighty Flyers, and William Clarke.
He performs using Hohner Marine Band and custom-made Dannecker Blues harmonicas.
The Shuffle Kings developed into a live blues outfit and feature some of Scotland’s top musicians.
They have since played at festivals and blues clubs across the country, supporting leading UK acts such as Paul Lamb & The King Snakes and the Stevie Nimmo Trio.
