FIREFIGHTERS took two hours to put out a major blaze at a Kidderminster industrial estate earlier this morning.
It is suspected that arson is the cause of the fire, at The Firs Industrial Estate, off Stourport Road in the Oldington area of the town.
Watch manager Mick Rowlands said: "The buildings were by the canal and were being used to store farm materials like hay, tools and paint. There was a tractor in there as well.
"Ourselves and Stourport attended from 6am and it took us a good two hours to put the fire out.
"There is evidence of arson and the police are investigating. This isn't the first time there's been a fire at that spot.
"I remember a similar incident 20 years ago and the new owners had re-built the storage buildings using old upright telegraph poles and sheets of metal."
