IT'S that time of year when we start to dream of/dread (delete as appropriate) everything Christmas Day will bring.
Whether you see it as the holiday of awkward family dinners or as the most wonderful time of the year, it's safe to say it won't quite be the same in 2020.
However, we have some good news for those who've already put up the tree and looked out their stocking.
The odds on Glasgow enjoying a White Christmas have been slashed with the city one of the favourites in the UK to enjoy snow on Christmas Day.
Glasgow is 4-1 on with bookies which we feel would be just rewards for what we've all had to endure in 2020.
The city is joined by Aberdeen, Dundee, and Edinburgh with such generous odds with Leeds the next closest at 6-1, according to Paddy Power.
What is a 'white' Christmas?
While Bing Crosby imagined a white Christmas to involve treetops glistening and sleigh bells ringing, the Met Office defines the term as at least one snowflake falling in a specific location during the 24 hours of December 25.
The Met Office also analyses the data from its observing stations across the UK to provide a better understanding of where snow has fallen on Christmas Day. Snow doesn't need to settle on the ground to be a White Christmas either.
