WITH the easing of COVID lockdowns, our NHS Fife healthcare has become gradually worse!
We are aware that our Government initially oppose any Westminster rulings but there is one issue that has been approved in England last week and must be adopted here. We must be allowed face-to-face consultations with our GPs. One hundred ‘tries’ to phone a surgery is soul-destroying!
Following an online inquisition, the promise of a telephone conversation with your doctor in mid-June is just ridiculous. Pharmacists are dishing out prescriptions without any reliable back-up. Patients with existing issues manage better than someone presenting a new complaint as the situation becomes a guessing game.
Do doctors not want to see us any more?
The system is broken, so someone please, please fix it.
