THE WEATHER struck last midweek to force the finals of the Primary Schools Kwik Cricket tournament indoors but the rain did not put the young cricketers off and they had a great day at the Pitreavie Indoor Centre.
The Primary 6 Schools Kwik Cricket Festival, which is supported by the Carnegie Dunfermline Trust, Dunfermline & West Fife Sports Council and Cricket Scotland, was won by Touch Primary who showed tremendous enthusiasm and no little skill.
In second place was Commercial PS, third were Camdean PS and fourth was Duloch PS.
The children had a fantastic time and in most of the matches the scores were very close with just a few runs separating the teams.
