FIFE Flyers have confirmed their captains and associate captains for the 2014/15 Season.

The 2014/15 captain will be number 55 Kyle Haines, while the associate captains will be number 21 Bobby Chaumont and number 26 Jordan Fulton. This will be Haines’ and Fulton’s second season with the club and Chaumont’s third season. The players are well respected by their peers in the room and are also fan favourites off the ice.

Associate coach Danny Stewart said, “Kyle Haines is the type of guy who leads by example on and off the ice, and because of this he is able to hold people accountable. He’s in great shape, comes to work every day and plays the game right on both sides of the puck.

“A guy like Hainsey is essential in the room, he is a key personality in the room and we need that. His personality, enthusiasm and leadership will be integral to our success as a team.

“Jordan is similar to Hainsey in that he comes to the rink prepared, ready to compete every day and can get the best out of the guys. His attitude, effort and energy makes everyone around him want to compete. He is more of a quiet leader but we all know what he brings night in and night out and that pushes the guys around him to be better.

“Bobby has been with us now for three seasons and is a well-liked guy in the room. He keeps things loose and is respected by his peers. He has scored some big goals for us in big games during his time in Fife and that is another asset of leadership that we hope he can continue to provide.”
