DUNFERMLINE running club Carnegie Harriers have been shortlisted to be named Decathlon UK Running Club of the Year.
The group are one of 10 clubs who are in the final running for the award, which has been whittled down from 100 entrants.
Carnegie Harriers were formed in 1991 to cater for the needs of road runners across Dunfermline and West Fife and, according to Decathlon, has "received widespread praise in its nominations for its competitive success", which was "attributed to the level of detail and planning that goes into the training regimes, as well as the amount of internal events and races on offer to its members."
Decathlon UK provides products for more than 70 sports across its 16 stores, and the winner of the award will receive a £500 voucher to spend.
Voting for the competition closes tonight (Thursday) and can be done by visiting www.decathlon.co.uk/blog/competition/running-club-year-shortlist/.
