Former Dunfermline Rugby Club lock Fraser McKenzie, who currently plays for Pro 12 side Edinburgh, returned to McKane Park to pass on his expertise during the three-day event for P1-P7 kids that saw up to 50 pupils attend each day.

Club president Andy Morgan said, “It is the biggest response to any Easter camp held in Fife and it shows what a good job the community coaches are doing. The boys worked really hard and already we’ve had a lot of kids say that they are interested in joining the club which is great.” Former Queen Anne High School pupil McKenzie joined Edinburgh in 2008 from Scottish Rugby’s national academy, having turned out for Dunfermline from the age of 16.

The 27-year-old, who has also represented the national team at under-19 and under-20 level, moved to Sale Sharks in 2011 and after a spell with Newcastle Falcons, returned to Murrayfield last summer.
