GORDON SHEDDEN will aim to keep his British Touring Car Championship title hopes alive as he gears up for round eight this afternoon.
The reigning champion and Knockhill business development manager endured a frustrating time on his home track, recording two ninth- and one fourth-place finish to sit 40 points behind championship leader Sam Tordoff.
The BTCC bandwagon rolls on to Rockingham this weekend and with just three rounds to go, the 37-year-old will be looking for a similar result at the Northamptonshire circuit that he managed last season.
The West Fifer scored a first and a second in the three races.
