LEWIS MARTIN has signed a new contract with the Athletic.
The 22-year-old has this morning put pen to paper on a new one-year-deal that will keep him at East End Park next season.
Martin, who arrived at Dunfermline at under-17 level in 2011, started in each of the last 12 games of the previous camapign.
Since making his top-team debut in 2013 against Morton, he has gone on to make 129 appearances for the club, scoring three goals.
Speaking to the media this morning, he said: "I knew about it probably since the end of March, so it's been a while getting it done, so I'm just delighted it's finally done and I can concentrate on next season."
We'll have more reaction and an interview with Martin in next week's Press Sport.
