ATHLETIC have announced that five players have agreed new contracts to stay with the club.

Goalkeepers Ryan Scully and Cammy Gill, central defender Lewis Martin, and reserve team members Paul Allan and Thomas Bragg, were all confirmed to have put pen to paper last night.

Scully, 26, who arrived at East End in January from Greenock Morton until the end of the season, had an option of a one-year extension which both parties have now taken up.

Having previously enjoyed two loan spells with the Pars in 2013/14 and 2014/15, the former Partick Thistle stopper was immediately installed as head coach Stevie Crawford's number one, making 14 appearances.

Scully kept six clean sheets in that spell, five of which came during a run of five successive victories, as he dislodged the outgoing Lee Robinson.

He has been joined in signing up until the end of next season by Martin, 23, whose season was blighted by injury.

The Pars youth product, who joined as an under-17 player, played just 105 minutes during the campaign - as a substitute against Morton on the penultimate day, and then the full match at Inverness - due to issues including the need for a hernia operation and illness.

Meanwhile Gill, 21, who has previously been linked with clubs such as Hearts and Celtic, will remain a Dunfermline player until 2021.He made his first-team debut in a 3-0 Irn-Bru Cup win at Buckie Thistle in 2017 and, although he appeared against Stirling Albion and Inverness in cup competitions this term, it was against the latter that he made his first senior league start on the final day.

Midfielder Allan, 19, signed a two-year deal with the club in 2017 after graduating from the Fife Elite Football Academy and has agreed a contract until 2020, while fellow reserve player Bragg has signed up for two years following his release by Southampton.
