PARS fans have smashed a crowdfunding target for a fan display before this weekend's Betfred Cup clash against Celtic.

Supporters have flocked to buy tickets for the game and are now set to have a display of 'colour and noise' ahead of kick-off on Saturday.

Organiser Jason Canning launched the crowdfunder yesterday and the £120 target has already been surpassed.

He said: "It is important that we turn up strong, loud and colourful as we take on Celtic in the cup.

Using a display of colour and noise we will help unite our fans and give further encouragement to our eleven.

"As per, displays rely on your generous donation. Without this, it would not be possible.

"Even small donations can help out for manufacturing materials. Every penny is appreciated."

Jason previously led efforts for a large banner and flags to be used on the opening day of the season at home to Dundee (pictured).

In May, he was presented with ‘Moment of the Season’ for the fan display at Falkirk in December at the Centenary Club Lifeline Player of the Year awards.
