ATHLETIC'S postponed match with Partick Thistle has been rearranged for Tuesday March 10, it has been confirmed.
The teams had been due to clash at Firhill on Saturday but, following a 10am pitch inspection, the game was called off because of a waterlogged pitch.
This afternoon, the SPFL have confirmed that the clash will take place in two weeks time, leaving Dunfermline facing the prospect of five games in that period.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle, whose visit on March 15 had to be moved because of their Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Cup commitments, travel to East End tonight, with Dundee United following suit on Saturday.
Next Wednesday, on March 4, the Pars head for Arbroath before hosting Queen of the South three days later, with the Partick trip following on.
