DUNFERMLINE will once more be beamed live across the nation after their away derby with Raith Rovers was rescheduled.

The two clubs had been due to go head-to-head for the third, and final, time of the campaign at Stark's Park on March 6.

But the match has now been brought forward to Friday March 5, with a 7.45pm kick off, to be screened live by BBC Scotland.

It will be the third time that the broadcaster has shown Stevie Crawford's side this season, having been present for their 2-1 win over Hearts at East End in November, and the scoreless draw at Morton earlier this month.

The first Fife derby of the season, at the beginning of December, saw high-flying Rovers - promoted last season from League One - storm into a two goal lead thanks to Manny Duku and Frankie Musonda, only for two goals in a minute from Fraser Murray and Declan McManus to rescue a draw for the Pars.

The pair had been due to meet at East End on January 2 but, with the game frozen off, they will come together next Wednesday evening.

Before then, second-top Athletic visit leaders Hearts on Saturday, while Raith, who are fourth, host third-placed Dundee.
