DUNFERMLINE'S postponed Fife derby has been rearranged and chosen for live television coverage - as has another of their upcoming fixtures.

The SPFL have confirmed this afternoon that their third meeting of the season with Raith Rovers, which had been due to take place last Friday evening, will now be played on Tuesday March 30.

The clash at Stark's Park was called off due to the Pars confirming they had suffered a Covid case, with those self-isolating meaning they could not fulfil the fixture.

That game was due to be beamed live by BBC Scotland, and they will show the rearranged clash live, with kick-off slated for 7.05pm.

Three days prior, on March 27, Stevie Crawford's side will travel to another of their promotion play-off rivals, Dundee, and the kick-off has been pushed back to 7.20pm to allow for BBC Scotland to screen the match.

Athletic's home clash with the Dees, which had been due to be played on Tuesday but was also postponed following the Covid case, is yet to be rearranged for an alternative date.

Dunfermline return to action this Saturday at home to Greenock Morton, the only team to leave East End Park with three points this season.

The Cappielow side will go into the game with a new man in charge, having confirmed the appointment of former Pars defender, and St Mirren manager, Gus MacPherson, as their boss yesterday (Wednesday) until the end of the season.
