DUNFERMLINE will play three of their final four Championship games at home after one of their outstanding fixtures was rearranged.

Their home match with Dundee, which has twice been postponed, will be played on Tuesday April 13, ahead of successive East End clashes with Queen of the South and Arbroath.

They had been originally due to face the Dark Blues - who they face for the second time this season on Saturday at Dens Park - on February 13, only for heavy snowfall to cause its cancellation.

It was subsequently slated for Tuesday March 9 but, after the Pars announced they had suffered a transmission of COVID-19 the previous week, that game, along with their trip to Raith Rovers on March 6, was called off.

With eight games to go in the league run-in, Athletic are third in the table, behind Raith and above Dundee only goal difference.

The three teams are locked on 30 points, but with Dunfermline having played a game fewer.

In a crucial week, they go to Dundee for a Saturday evening clash live on BBC Scotland, before visiting Raith Rovers on Tuesday, in a game that is also live on the same channel.

That is followed by a home clash with leaders Hearts on April 3, before an away game with Ayr United, the East End fixtures with Dundee, Queen of the South and Arbroath, and a final day visit to Alloa Athletic, bring the season to an end.

The kick-off time for the newly arranged Dundee home game is 7pm, whilst this weekend's game at Dens begins at 7.20pm.

The clash at Raith Rovers on Tuesday is a 7.05pm start.
