DUNFERMLINE Athletic and Kelty Hearts fans can now pencil in dates for their diaries as this season's league fixtures have been revealed.

A Fife Derby will take place on the opening day of the season in cinch League Two as Kelty Hearts welcome Cowdenbeath to New Central Park on Saturday, July 31.

Dunfermline, meanwhile, travel to Cappielow to play Greenock Morton in their first cinch Championship match.

The following month will see Peter Grant's Pars side have their own Fife Derby as make the trip to Kirkcaldy to face Raith Rovers on August 21, a week after playing newly-promoted Partick Thistle on August 7.

Kelty have three fixtures on the road in August as they go to Stirling Albion (Aug 7), Forfar Athletic (Aug 14) and Stenhousemuir (Aug 28).

Pars supporters will not have to do much travelling over the festive period as they face Arbroath at home on Boxing Day (Dec 26) and Inverness at East End Park on Dec 29, before the second trip to Kirkcaldy is made on January 2 to play Raith Rovers.

Dunfermline will also play Raith on October 26 and April 2.

Kilmarnock, relegated from the Scottish Premiership last season, will play Dunfermline on October 16 at East End, December 18 at Rugby Park, February 26 in Dunfermline and April 9 in Kilmarnock.

Dunfermline will end the season at home to Allan Johnston's Queen of the South on Friday, April 29, a week after the last away day at Partick Thistle (April 23).

Kelty will end their season away to Annan on April 30.

Key dates for fans include the three other ties with Cowdenbeath on November 6 (Central Park) January 2 (New Central Park) and March 5 (Central Park).
