TODAY is the day.

At 8pm this evening, Scotland will take on England at Wembley with three points, bragging rights and national pride all at stake.

The outcome of the Group D clash in London will have a huge impact on Scotland's chances of progressing beyond the group stage and supporters up and down the country and around the world have been looking forward to this one for months.

With limited tickets available for fans at the stadium itself due to COVID restrictions, it means watching the action either at home or in a nearby pub is required for the majority of us.

Tables available in Dunfermline bars to watch the game have been hard to come by with fans promptly snapping up seats.

The Canmore House Bar & Restaurant in Dunfermline announced on Wednesday afternoon that they had purchased TVs for their outdoor marquee in order to show the match.

The tables they had available are now fully booked.

The team at the Canmore told the Press: "We are showing it however at the moment we are fully booked tonight. Things do change however and if there’s any spaces we will advertise these on our Facebook page.

"We are super excited to be supporting Scotland all the way in our socially-distanced marquee. We will show all Scotland games & also the tournnament final.

"Let’s celebrate with fabby cocktails and fine food.

"C’mon Scotland from Team Canmore!"

Finding plaes to watch the game is proving to be a nightmare for many and popular pubs like The Elizabethan on Halbeath Road is also full for both of Scotland's remaining matches - against England and Croatia.

East Port Bar in Dunfermline is booked up, but joy could be had at the Ball Room Sports Bar on Queen Anne Street; if you want to play pool while watching the game, the venue had eight spaces available when the Press contacted them at the end of last week.

If you know anywhere with tables left to watch the game, let us and your fellow Scotland fans know via our Facebook page.
