ATHLETIC have been picked to play in another Friday night game under the lights after television selections for two more Championship fixtures were confirmed.

James McPake's men, who host Dundee United tomorrow evening, live on BBC Scotland, have been chosen by the broadcaster to feature in a live match against Queen's Park in January.

Dunfermline had been due to make their second visit to Hampden on January 6, but the game has now been brought forward to January 5, with a 7.45pm kick off.

The match is due to be their third against the Spiders this season, after a 2-0 success at Mount Florida in September, and a scheduled home game on December 2.

The Pars, last week, played in their first live BBC Scotland appearance of the season at Greenock Morton, which ended in a 2-1 win, ahead of their second against Championship leaders United.

Later this month, on November 24, the BBC cameras will be back at KDM Group East End Park to provide live coverage of their Scottish Gas Scottish Cup third round tie with derby rivals Raith Rovers.
