DUNFERMLINE have bolstered their squad by making a move for St Johnstone forward Chris Kane.
The club have, this morning, announced that the 29-year-old has agreed a loan deal until the end of the season.
Kane, who came through the youth ranks at the Perth club, was also reportedly interesting Athletic's league rivals, Queen's Park, who came away from KDM Group East End Park with a 3-0 victory at the weekend.
Their head coach Callum Davidson, and his number two, Liam Craig, both worked with the player at McDiarmid Park, where they won the Scottish Cup and League Cup double in 2021.

The Pars, however, have been successful in securing Kane's signature ahead of this Saturday's crunch clash with bottom club, Arbroath, who sit six points behind the second bottom Pars in the Championship table.
Following his team's defeat to the Spiders on Saturday, James McPake said that he was hopeful of adding "a couple of experienced bodies" to his squad, commenting: "We almost had someone in this morning. We were hoping to have someone in, which wouldn’t have helped today.
"But we’re working very hard on it. We have been. We’ve spoken about this loan window and when the Premiership teams decide they can let players go.
"We’re working hard on it."

Kane, who had productive loan spells in the Championship with both Dumbarton and Queen of the South previously in his career, is a former team-mate of Pars assistant boss, Dave Mackay.
He has made 244 appearances for Saints, scoring 37 goals, and in the summer, he penned a half-season deal with the Perth club, and then again in December.
