Dunfermline Athletic Ladies 7 Central Girls Football Academy 0
TAYLOR SHIELDS helped herself to a hat-trick as Dunfermline Athletic Ladies continued their sparkling form by hitting seventh heaven on Sunday.
Charles Dignan's made it six successive competitive victories against Central Girls Football Academy in their latest SWFL (Scottish Women's Football League) East clash.
The Pars have won all four of their league fixtures since Dignan arrived at the club as head coach, scoring a whopping 20 goals, and conceding just three.
"Taylor Shields not only got her first goal for the club, she got her first hat-trick. I'm delighted with another clean sheet and how the team controlled the game," he commented.
"I thought we were a little flat in the first half, if I was to be critical, but we certainly made up for that in the second half. It's another three points which takes us up to second in the league.
"The confidence and belief in the group is fantastic, and the games keep coming round fast, which is great. I really do believe we are creating something very special here with this team."
Ellis Yeaman, Mia Hutcheson, Hannah Colyer and Tyler Sibbons were also on target for the Pars, who are scheduled to host Glenrothes Strollers at Pitreavie this Sunday.
