TALENTED gymnasts with a West Fife club have been back in the medals after triumphing at a prestigious international competition.

Members of Acrobay, located in Rosyth, collected 13 gongs - three of which were gold - after a dazzling performance at the King Edmund Grades Competition in Bristol.

In addition, they also claimed the highest overall score of the two-day tournament, with young stars Scarlett Anderson, 10, and Luna Stevenson, nine, achieving a total of 27.00 - which was higher than all of the 346 other gymnastics performances.

Suzanne Fraser, Acrobay's head coach, commented: "It’s a big undertaking for so many of our gymnasts and their families to travel to Bristol by plane, train or a really long drive.

"Seeing such fantastic scores and a big medal haul makes it all seem worthwhile. It’s brilliant to know the judges there are as impressed by our gymnasts as we are."
