Dunfermline track and field athletes celebrated success at the National Championships, scoring personal bests and new records.
DTFC's Riley Gardiner, competing in the under-15 category, claimed a silver medal in the 300m, setting a new club record and personal best with a time of 37.9 seconds.
In the under-20 category, Darcie Black took gold in the long jump with a 5.47m jump, narrowly beating her club-mate Mya McMahon, who took silver by just one centimetre.
Darcie secured another gold in the 100m hurdles, completing the race in 15.35 seconds.
The following weekend, she claimed a bronze in the long jump, setting another club record with a leap of 5.57m.
Other under-15 athletes also put on strong performances.
Luke Hamilton narrowly missed out on the 100m final, while Arabella Mitchell and Abbey McAndrew ran well in their 200m heats.
Lucy Gibb finished 10th in the 1500m with a time of 5 minutes and 13 seconds.
In the 800m, Poppy Warner, Briony Argo, Lily Pritchard, and Abbey McAndrew finished 14th, 25th, 27th, and 30th respectively.
Caitlin Chalmers finished 10th in the high jump in the field events, clearing 1.39m.
She and Abbey also performed well in the long jump.
In the under-20 category, Oliver Morrison finished 13th in the 800m with a time of 2 minutes and 4 seconds, and 15th in the 400m with a time of 53.86 seconds.
Kirstin Penman finished fifth in the 100m hurdles, setting a personal best of 17.24 seconds.
The under-13s also put on strong performances, despite not making it to the podium.
Alfie Whyte finished ninth in the 1500m, setting a personal best of five minutes.
Finlay Gibson finished 10th in the 75m hurdles and 14th in the 100m.
Evanne Carson set two personal bests in the 100m and shot put, finishing ninth with a 5.82m throw.
Club-mate Poppy Buchannan finished 13th in the 75m hurdles and set a personal best in the javelin with a 9.65m throw.
The under-17s concluded the weekend, with Sophie Thomas narrowly missing out on the podium, finishing fourth in her 100m and 200m races.
Sarah Kane was the only other competitor for DTFC in this age group, finishing 11th in her javelin and 15th in the 100m.
DTFC under-11 athlete Mara Webber was nominated for one of the Eric Liddell Awards.
These awards are given to athletes, coaches, and officials who have shown passion, compassion, and integrity in athletics.
The club expressed their delight for Mara, saying her award was "well deserved."
The club congratulated all athletes for their "terrific performances," particularly as many were competing in their first year in their age group.
They now look forward to the indoor season.
