THERE was Friday night derby delight for the Pars as they ended a run of six games without victory against Raith Rovers.

Ewan Otoo's deflected strike, and David Wotherspoon's beauty, earned James McPake's side a deserved 2-0 success to claim their first win of the season.

It was an evening to celebrate for the Athletic fans, whose favourites moved off the bottom of the Championship table - a spot Rovers now occupy - and into seventh place.
