TEENAGE defender Sam Cleall-Harding was delighted to see his side grab their first three points in his third start for Kelty.
The starlet, who joined on loan from Dundee United earlier this month, had seen his side suffer narrow defeats.
After helping his side to a clean sheet in the tie against Annan, Sam admitted he was enjoying his time with the West Fife club.
“Since coming in, I have really enjoyed it. They like to play football and that is what I want to do and that is why I came,” he said.
“It has been good.”
The 18-year-old came through the ranks at Tannadice and was signed for them by former Kelty boss, Thomas Courts, who spent two years on Tayside working with their youth academy and as first team head coach.
Cleall-Harding's move to New Central Park is his first loan spell having regularly impressed with his parent club's under-18 side, before becoming part of their first team squad.
Providing a solid performance on Saturday, Cleall-Harding is confident on the ball and keen to help his team start out with passing from the back.
“That is what the manager wants me to do. It is my first proper men’s football so it is good.”
With experienced heads around him, the learning is continuing on the pitch for the youngster.
“Big Tam talks you through the game and the gaffer in front that is all I can ask for,” he said. “I am enjoying it. I thought we played really well, I thought we deserved to win as well.
“I am happy clean sheet, three points, all good.”
