A European championship winning coach is set to offer his water polo expertise in Dunfermline.
David Martin Lozano, who led Spain to glory last year, is set to visit Carnegie Leisure Centre on August 30-31.
The Caledonia Water Polo team, in partnership with Scottish Water Polo, are bringing him to the city for a pre-season training weekend, giving opportunity to pick his brains about the sport.
Martin Lozano has enjoyed a highly successful water polo career, winning 28 national titles with Atlètic-Barceloneta as a player, whilst also competing in the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games.
With his native Spain, he was a World Championship bronze and silver medallist, in 2007 and 2009 respectively, and a 2006 European Championship bronze medallist.
As a coach, he has also won Champions League (2013) and European Super Cup (2014) gold with Atlètic-Barceloneta, European Championship bronze (2022) and silver (2018 and 2020) with Spain, and led the national side at the 2020 and 2024 Olympics.

Meanwhile, he is also set to take part in a free Q&A session at the autumn festival of the BMC Cup competition at Carnegie Leisure Centre this weekend.
On Saturday and Sunday, they are hosting their second under-14s event, which will see 12 teams competing - the most they've ever had - from Scotland, England and Ireland.
Martin Lozano is due to be present on Sunday, at 12pm and 1pm, with spaces available on a first come, first served basis.
The BMC Cup, set up in memory of late Dunfermline Water Polo Club stalwart, Brian Campbell, will also host its third girls under-18 event over the weekend of September 6-7.
Teams from Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland will take part, whilst, in a first, it will also host under-18 boys internationals between Scotland and Denmark.
