DUNFERMLINE teenager Ben Wilkinson was presented with the Cricket Scotland Under 17 player of the year award last weekend.
He is pictured receiving the accolade from Scotland 17s coach Steve Knox.
It was Ben's best season so far with the bat scoring over 1500 runs in total in all forms of the game.
He was highest run scorer in the Fife T20 league and was also the highest run scorer in the Under 18s inter-regional Academy matches which were played around Scotland over the summer.
He won the CS award for his 368 runs representing Scotland in games against the English Counties and internationally versus Holland and Ireland.
He was more than 160 runs ahead of the next best batsman with the highlight being his scoring 119 against the Durham Academy.
Ben is a product of the colts system run by Dunfermline CC at McKane Park and has made an immediate impact playing for top Edinburgh side Heriot's FP.
