FLOWERS and romance gave way to bikes and pedal power as cyclo-cross lovers set pulses racing in Dunfermline on Valentine's Day.
A total of 161 competitors took part in Dunfermline Cycling Club's 'St Valentine's Day Mas-cx-acre' at Fife College's Halbeath campus on Sunday.
Riders of all abilities, ranging from children under eight years of age up to adults racing in veteran categories, took on the muddy short circuit and the Press was there to capture the action.
