Stuart Gray, from Knockhill, said, “Knockhill wanted to show its appreciation to the Armed Forces for what they have done for the country.” There will be something for everyone at the event with more than 50 supercars on display, a range of military vehicles paying a visit and Scottish Championship racing.

For a donation to Armed Forces charities, spectators will be able to go for a ride around the track in world-class cars, including Porsches, Maserattis, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bentleys and Jaguars.

There will also be Scottish Motor Racing Club (SMRC) Formula Ford, Legend Car and Mini races.

Knockhill is gearing up for a big turnout at the event and have been getting in touch with local military organisations since March.

Mr Gray added, “We are hoping for a big turnout. We normally get about 1000 people for SMRC events but we could double or even triple that.” All members of the Armed Forces (serving or veterans) will be able to get in for free with their friends and families being offered special rates.
