TWO products of Dunfermline Rugby Club's youth set-up will star for Scotland against England on Friday.

Murray McCallum and Adam Nicol have been picked for the national team's under-20s Six Nations squad and they are set to be involved when the Auld Enemy visit Broadwood Stadium, Cumbernauld, on Friday.

McCallum, who featured in all five matches in 2015, will start in the loosehead prop berth while Nicol is listed among the replacements.

Both players came through the McKane Park youth system, with McCallum a member of the Dunfermline under-15 side that won the SRU Caledonian Bowl in 2011, but McCallum has since moved on to Heriot's, while Nicol is now playing with Stirling County.

Scotland finished third in last year's tournament, and coach John Dalziel said: "We’ve got a big and experienced pack – all who were involved throughout last year’s under-20 season – and a wealth of experience at this level in the backline, so we’re excited about what the team has to offer.

"The players who have made the step up to under-20 this year have really added to the group and have shown they deserve their call-up."

After facing England, the Scots face successive away matches against Wales and Italy before finishing their campaign with a home tie against France and a trip to Ireland.
