POLICE have issued a further appeal information following a fire at a Dunfermline property earlier this week.

Emergency services were called at around 4.45am on Tuesday morning after reports of a fire on Adamson Crescent.

Three people received precautionary checks from the Scottish Ambulance Service for slight smoke inhalation following the incident. 

Police say the front door of a property was deliberately set on fire and are urging members of the public who may have information to come forward.

Detective Inspector Kieran Marsh said: “Thankfully no-one was injured as a result of this reckless act.

“Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious or who has any information which may assist us to get in touch.

“I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area and may have dash cam or private CCTV footage which could assist to contact us.”
